Account and data deletion

If you play without an account

The new guest mode does not save accumulated progress. Old guest records from earlier versions may remain in the browser. To delete them, open the browser’s site-data settings and delete duel64.com data. On a local address, choose the relevant localhost or 127.0.0.1. This deletes data only for the selected site and browser.

Note: clearing site data may delete all its guest and local profiles, games and settings. This differs from the form below, which works only with a verified server account.

Deleting a test account

In the closed cloud test, sign into the correct account, check its address on this page, request a separate deletion code and enter it with explicit confirmation. The deletion code arrives in a service email, lasts for 15 minutes and differs from the sign-in code. Do not share it with other people.

When the local service is available, sign into the correct account. On this page, check which account is selected, enter its password, tick confirmation and click “Delete account”. The password verifies the owner and is not saved in the browser by the deletion form.

After a successful response, the account is deleted from the primary database along with sessions, codes, settings, change receipts, consents, private progress copy, Academy lessons, rewards, own statistics, competitive rating, public identifier and matchmaking requests. Its link to shared games is removed; the other participant’s data is retained. Friendships, direct messages and related reports are erased. Its own Gold balance and ledger, settings, entitlements, stacks and received gifts are deleted; sent gifts remain with the recipient without sender identity and with text until its retention deadline. Deletion of server practice rooms is queued for cleanup. Its local cache and pending Academy answers on the current device are also deleted. The form does not delete guest histories or other accounts’ data.

Protection counters linked to email and account identifier are also deleted. Network request counters are cleared separately during subsequent requests. Database file snapshots are not automatically cleared by this operation: their retention period and final cleanup procedure still need approval. A success message does not mean all backups have already been cleared.

Public access and enquiries

While public registration is disabled, an automatic form for a public account is unavailable. This page does not itself send email. For data questions or help with access, write to support@duel64.com with the subject “DUEL — data deletion”. Do not send passwords or verification codes.

Before public accounts launch, deletion after owner verification and an accessible contact method without installing an application must work here. Completion periods, specific data retained on a lawful basis, its retention period and a support channel for loss of access must be stated.

Google sign-in works in the closed test; Apple sign-in remains disabled. Account deletion removes the Google identity link from the primary database and queues revocation of the stored Google grant. If Google is temporarily unavailable, retries run separately; local deletion does not confirm completed revocation at Google. Deleting DUEL does not delete the Google account itself. Signing out of Google alone does not delete DUEL.
